Are hauntings and ghost sightings as prevalent as The Science Channel says? From Gozer the Traveler to Ghost Hunters International, the media is gonzo for the paranormal in October. But what does science say about the techniques employed by professional ghost hunters?
Join us for an evening about science in pop culture with a special Halloween edition SUPER SCIENCE MASHUP. The science crew will do live demonstrations of Ghost Hunting technology and techniques, will show how to take your own “paranormal” photographs, and will put the science of paranormal investigation to the test. The event will also be a costume contest with a cash bar.
After the event, the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society will be setting up telescopes outside for viewings.
