Dear CSAS;

   I would like to introduce myself.  I am Timothy Clement of the Southern Colorado Astronomical Society in Pueblo - Dark Skies Chairman.  I hope El Paso County has a dark skies ordinance because there are some BLAZING examples of what should NOT happen in your area.  I travel at least once a week to and through your area and just wished the owners of these Horrible lights would take them down.  First example is on I-25 just north of Circle drive on the west side of Interstate.  Some gravel company is illuminating a statue of a Ram with 2 5000 lumen CFL lights.  They are so bright that one CAN NOT even see what is being illuminated.  The second example is the VW storage facility next to the north side of PPIR.  Every one of there poles lights GLARE and BLIND drivers going both directions on I-25.  The lights over the entrance shack are especially OBNOXIOUS.  

    If someone from your society would contact me via e-mail so we could exchange phone numbers that would be deeply appreciated.  Maybe we can work out a plan to get these offending lights turned down or extinguished.  Thank You in advance for your consideration.
