This year for the Space Symposium, the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society is collaborating with the Space Foundation Discovery Center to present the “Family Symposium”. This is a free and open to the public event. CSASTRO will be supporting with solar telescope observing of the Sun (weather permitting) and some other hands on activities.

What is Family Symposium?

Space Foundation’s Space Symposium is the “must attend space event” of the year for governments, space agencies, businesses and individuals in the space industry.

The first annual Family Symposium is the “must attend STEAM event” of the year for educators, parents, families, scouts, and homeschoolers who are looking for the very best STEAM resources in the region.

The Space Foundation Discovery Center is the region’s first and only dedicated space, science and technology center and museum. It is an interactive, education-focused destination that advances science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) in the exciting context of space exploration, development and utilization.
