We have been asked to support this tiny community near Canon City, Colorado with a star party at their Historic Garden Park School. The location is 10 miles north of Canon City in a valley called Garden Park on Garden Park Road/Fremont County 9/Red Canyon Road (same road named various names). They plan to have a band and snacks from 6-8 PM and then we’ll share views of the night sky at a pretty dark sky location.
We’ll also be reaching out to Southern Colorado Astronomical Society (SCAS) to see if they’ll also come out to join us in sharing views.
