SUN-Day In The Park at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Sunday, June 21st, 9 AM – Noon

By popular request, we’ll be having another SUN-Day In The Park event on a SUNDAY!!! Sunday, June 21st, 9 AM – Noon, the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society (CSASTRO) Member Volunteers will bring their telescopes out to Cheyenne Mountain State Park at the Limekiln Trailhead to share views of the Sun through special, safe solar observing telescopes. Some of these special telescopes are able to show surface details and features not seen with any other types of instruments. Our programs are free and open to the public though State Park Fees apply.
