CSASTRO Meetings are free and open to the public and are currently being held in person and online (see location and virtual meeting invite information below).
Presenter/Topic: Tom DeClue will (again try) have a showing of the Documentary, “Star Party” that was originally broadcast on PBS in 2004. This 60 minute video was taped during Rocky Mountain Star Stare (RMSS) 2003 and will show how much some of our members and regular participants have ‘aged’ since RMSS 20+ years ago. This was when RMSS will still held on US Forest Service (Pikes Peak Nat’l Forest) land. We think you’ll find this both entertaining and educational!
