Mueller State Park has asked Colorado Springs Astronomical Society to once again hold a star party up at their visitor center.
There will be no Moon so we’ll only have any residual city light pollution to contend with. Andromeda galaxy should be getting high enough to start observing through telescopes as well as the planets Neptune and Uranus.
It is September and is much cooler up there in the evening that Colorado Springs so remember to bring layers of warm clothing (coats and hats) for viewing comfort.
